I Remember You! is a series of crafting workshops for both new and seasoned crafters to connect with other folks in the neighbourhood, and jump start those I remember you! moments when you’re out and about.
Collage Afternoon
Morning Parade (1952 Gerrard St E, Toronto)​

Join us August 10th at Morning Parade (1952 Gerrard St E) from 12:00 to 2:30 PM and spend a Sunday afternoon with us collaging on the patio. All materials will be provided for the collaging project. Feel free to bring your own materials as well.
Host Danielle will start with a 10 minute collaging demo around 12:15 PM and then the space is open for you to ~ create ~.

We welcome makers who would like to work on other art projects in the space as well. Small scale projects are recommended given the size of the space.
​
The event is pay what you can. Suggested donation is $10 per person to cover the cost of materials.
​
Early RSVP is recommended.
Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase.

About Your Host Danielle
Danielle is a visual artist working primarily with textiles. She currently lives in the East End of Toronto, and is involved in community-based art.
Weaving with Nature
Taylor Creek Park, Picnic Area #5
(Dawes Rd entrance, with closest intersection at Dawes Rd and Crescent Town Rd)

Learn how to weave with natural materials and create your own piece to take home. The art project will involve wrapping and weaving natural fibres (e.g. jute) around pieces of wood, and usually takes about 30-60 minutes to complete. All materials will be provided.
We will start with a 10 minute demo around 1:15 PM and then the space will be open to create. Organizers will be around to assist. Makers who would like to work on other art projects in the space are also welcome. Small scale projects are recommended.
Beverages and snacks will be provided.

This is an outdoor event, so please plan accordingly. In case of rain or extreme heat the event will be postponed to August 17th, 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
