Frame Weaving

Morning Parade (1952 Gerrard St E, Toronto)

June 3rd

6-9 PM

PWYC

Join us June 3rd at Morning Parade (1952 Gerrard St E) from 6 to 9 PM and learn how to create your own woven piece on a picture frame loom. All materials will be provided for the loom weaving project, including small picture frames and yarn. Feel free to bring your own materials as well. Picture frames about 8"x11” are recommended. This can also be a great project to incorporate special bits of material you might have, or use some of that scrap yarn/fabric that’s been lying around the house.

Host Danielle will start with a 10 minute picture frame weaving demo around 6:15 PM and then the space is open for you to ~ create ~.

We welcome makers who would like to work on other art projects in the space as well. Small scale projects are recommended given the size of the space.

The event is pay what you can. Suggested donation is $10 per person to cover the cost of materials, space, and staffing.

Early RSVP is recommended as capacity is limited to 20!

Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase.

Hope to see you there!
